Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Yes, I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. Please check back in about 3-months or email me to see if I am accepting other insurances.

Q: How much do appointments cost?
A: Appointment costs are generally covered by insurance. For people interested in cash pay treatment, a 45-50 minute intake appointment is $300. Follow up 45 - 50 min appointments are also $300 and 20 - 25 min medication management appointments are $150.

Q: How often will we meet?
A: That depends. After the intake appointment we will discuss more. Treatment could include therapy and medication management as frequently as every week, or medication management alone which could be done in monthly appointments until you are doing well, then eventually to once every 3-months. Each person’s care is individualized to their needs.

Q: I sent you an email, how long does it take to get a call back?
A: Dr. Thayer tries to return all emails and calls within 1-business day. Dr. Thayer is unavailable on holidays.

Q: What are your hours?
A: Currently, Dr. Thayer sees patients on Monday from 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you are interested in discussing availability, please contact Dr. Thayer using the email or phone number below.

Q: I already have a therapist, will you coordinate care directly with my therapist?
A: Absolutely! Please be sure describe where you are getting therapy services during the intake appointment and Dr. Thayer will be sure to review the process for coordinating care.
